Event Participation

Physical Condition of Participants
IMPORTANT: Before taking part in the Belderrig Bronze Man Race ("BBMR"), you should contact a medical professional to make sure that it is appropriate for you. We recommend that all participants who have health-related concerns about taking part in the Race visit their local GP for a health check-up before entering. All participants in the Belderrig Bronze Man Race do so at their own risk.

Insurance Cover when participating in the Belderrig Bronze Man Race
As every participant has different insurance needs, it is the decision and responsibility of each participant to ensure they are fully covered in accordance with their specific requirements when participating in the BBMR. We strongly recommend that each participant has their own Personal Accident Cover in case of injury.

Before participating in the BBMR, each participant must print and sign their name on an Official Entry Form. By signing this form, you agree that the BBMR Committee, Officials and Volunteers are not liable for any personal injury or any other accident that may cause injury to you. In case of injury or illness, you give your consent to emergency transportation and the administration of first aid and medical treatment. You are also aware that you can purchase a Personal Accident Cover policy from any financial consultant or insurance broker.

It is the responsibility of each participant to complete the BBMR within the rules and regulations stated by the organisers.
